“An old man, a young man and life’s greatest lesson’

A true story, I read this one a few summers ago with my partner at the time, so easy to read, very enjoyable filled with many of life simple lessons.

Its based on a series of interviews with Morrie Schwartz, his profession from his days in University, who’s dying of Lou Gehrig disease.

To summarize what I feel is the main message of the book, I chose the quote where Morrie tells Mitch the way to find satisfaction in life. “Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”


Eat, Pray, Love:

‘One Woman Serach for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia’

After a bitter divorce, author Elizabeth Gilbert decided to travel for a year. She visited Italy and ate large amounts of food, India to learn about Spirituality ad finally ending her journey in Bali.

This book shares the spiritual journey of someone in a world of pain, to finding more balance and becoming a very loving human.

Now a great film also.

Great for anyone who would love to deepen their own self care and self love.

The mind and body are connected. Through our illnesses in different parts of the body we can learn the root causes in emotional and spiritual aspects. Going within to explore the beliefs and issues that could be affecting you.
