Choc, Orange + Fig Protein Balls



Perfect for a post work out snack, with Vitamin C from the orange, and the amazing carbohydrate source from the figs.

Added Chocolate Plant Protein has been added for helping with recovery and repair.


Ingredients:

1 cup desiccated coconut

1 cup almond meal

1 scoop of Chocolate Plant Protein

3  dessert spoon raw cacao powder

1  dessert spoon Xylitol or (sweetener of choice)

1  tsp on Maca Powder

10 Figs

1 Orange + Rind


How to:

Using a high-speed blender add all ingredients except liquid (Orange) until mixture is crumb like.

Add the orange and juice and blend until mix turns into dough consistency.

Add grated skin of orange rind and chopped figs into small chunks then add to mixture.

Using a spoon or ice cream scoop roll into small balls

Cover a plate with extra cacao and orange rind to roll balls in until well covered.

Store in fridge (keeps for 7days) or in freezer.

Makes: 20 balls
