Coconut Milk is so simple and delish – coconut chunks, water, dates, blend and strain.

The homemade coconut milk is great as a smoothie basis and wonderful with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick for a late evening treat.


  • 2 Litre filtered or purified water

  • 1/2 cup of fresh coconut chunks or 1 cup of desciated coconut

  • 2 fresh dates

  • pinch of sea salt

  • vanilla bean or essence (optional)

How to

  1. Add coconut and water to high powered blender, blending for 2 mins.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend for another 30sec

  3. Using a nut bag or cheese cloth strain the milk and remove pulp.

​This can be dried and used as flour alternative in other recipes.


Coconut Milk should remain fresh for 2-3days.
