As we know dairy is not well tolerated by everyone...we are now lucky enough these days to have so many other replacements... I love making home made milks... Today Im sharing with you my homemade hemp milk.

Once you have learnt how to make your own milks from nuts and seeds, you’ll never want to buy it from the store again. Many store-bought dairy-free milks contain preservatives, gums, stabilisers and added unehalthy oils that you really don’t want to be putting into your body. Hemp Seeds are packed with 7g protein per cup, this makes an excellent smoothie base or perfect to have with your oats or chia puddings at breakfast!

  • 4 cups of filtere/purified water

  • 1 cup hemp seeds

  • 3-6 fresh dates (pitted) - how many you use will depend on desired sweetness

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean (optional)

How to

  1. Place all ingredients in blender, blend on high speed for 1 min or until completely smooth.

  2. Pour into mason jars or something tightly sealed.

  3. Place in fridge for an hour before serving, or you can use ice in recipe if you want to use immediately

Should last 3-4 days in fridge
