Love…. why not make some special treats this Valentines day that are jam packed with goodness too!

I love dark chocolate, I often have a square or two of 85% lindt most days, 9filled with antioxidants)…

Add nuts and you have yourself some mood lifting brain food not to mention you will also impress that lover of yours.


  • Strawberries (or fruit of choice)

  • Nuts of your choice (pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds)

  • 70% or darker Lindt Chocolate or you can make your own chocolate

How to,

  1. Melt the chocolate in a saucepan

  2. Place your choice of nuts in separate bowls if using different types

  3. Dip each strawberry in the dark chocolate, then immediately dip in the hazelnuts or pistachios, so that the nuts cover the chocolate. Place each strawberry on a baking sheet, then refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, at least 15 minutes.
