Matcha, Berry + Coconut Bliss Balls

I love making bliss balls - as they are so quick and easy and a great snack to have in the fridge for during the week when you just feel like something a little naughty but still healthy.

I also love making a batch of them for friends and clients to enjoy.

Matcha is high in antioxidants and helps us with our health, energy + vitality.  It has the ability to boost our immune systems, control our stress and assist in weight loss.

Berries are high in antioxidants also which can help to neutralise free radicals. Coconut is a rich source of lauric acid that has antibacterial and antiviral properties.

1 cup of desiccated coconut

1/4 cup of cashews or macadamias

1 cup frozen mixed berries

4 fresh dates

1.5 tsp of Matcha

1 tabs Coconut Oil

Squeeze of lemon juice

How to:

Blend nuts in high speed blender first on their own til almost a paste.

Add in the remainder of ingredients.

Blend until a good consistency

Mixture is quite wet due to frozen berries, but coconut oil will help them harder once in fridge.

If its too wet to roll, add some more coconut.

Roll into balls, rolling in desiccated coconut (add small amount of matcha to mix to create green effect)

Put in freezer to harder and keep them here ready to enjoy.
